Scope
lifeos-lotor is a private automation operated by Jon Winchester for his own use. It has a single user, who is also its operator. It is not offered to the public and collects no data from anyone else.
What data it accesses
-
Google Calendar. It requests one scope,
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events, which allows it to create and update calendar events. It uses this only to create events on the operator's own primary calendar. - Phone call log. Read locally from the operator's own Android device: phone number, contact name where known, call direction, duration and timestamp.
What it does not do
- It does not read existing calendar entries, contacts, mail, files or photos.
- It does not transmit data to any third party, advertiser or analytics service.
- It does not record call audio.
- It has no server that receives data from anyone, and no account system.
Where data is stored
Call-log records are stored on the operator's own computers, and the resulting events live in the operator's own Google Calendar. Google's handling of that calendar data is governed by Google's privacy policy. OAuth credentials are stored with file permissions restricted to the operator's user account.
Retention and deletion
Records are kept for as long as the operator finds them useful and can be deleted at any time by deleting the local files and the corresponding calendar events. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all further access.
